Funeral services will be Saturday, February 2, 2002 for 64 year old Alice Smith of Chester, IL who died Wednesday, January 30, 2002 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL.

Born June 25, 1937 in Rockwood, IL, the daughter of Ralph and Mary (Mount) Dilday. She married Lloyd Smith on February 14, 1999 in Chester, IL and he survives of Chester, IL.

Also surviving are two sons, Ralph Wright of Chester, IL and Charles Wright of Indianapolis, IN. Two daughters, Carolyn McBride of Chester, IL and Mary Mudd of Modoc, IL. Two brothers, John Dilday of Rockwood, IL and Ray Dilday of Joliet, IL. Four step-children, 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call after 5pm Friday, February 1, 2002 at the Welge Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, IL.

Funeral services for Alice Smith will be Saturday, February 2, 2002 at 1pm at the Welge Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, IL with Rev. Mark Willig officiating. Burial will be in the St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery in Chester, IL.

A VFW Auxiliary Service will be held at 6:30pm Friday, February 1, 2002 at the Welge Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, IL.
